Job description
We farm 15,000 acres of wheat, canola, sunflowers, and corn in rural North Dakota. Our daily farm tasks in the spring include prepping all tractors, farm trucks, seed and fertilizer for the spring planting season. April-May includes seeding/planting of all the crops listed. Spraying the farm acres, working ground, hauling grain, maintaining spring equipment and prepping for fall harvest fills up most of the summer time. August-November is our busy harvest season beginning with canola and wheat. Later in the fall, corn and sunflowers will be harvested. Hauling grain to storage locations will be done at anytime of year. Employees will operate manual grain truck and trailers, large equipment, forklift, skid steers, and other farm equipment. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular driver's license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
