Vineyard (agricultural) Technician

Job description

Vineyard technician will be in the field during our growing and harvesting season this year. This is an important role for our vineyard. He or she will be responsible for walking the fields and inspecting the vineyards and grapes while they grow and are being harvested. He or she is to analyze the vines and grapes to see which Ones that look sick and ones that look healthy. Determine the presence of disease and other problems of our vines. Then test the vines and grapes in our lab to determine why it is such. Tests help improve the yield of our grapes and the quality of our grapes and vines during this critical time. With the tests he or she administers he or she is to provide sets of implementations to be taken so our vines can increase yield, resistance to pests, and disease.
