Job description
We are a custom grain harvesting company. We harvest wheat, canola, milo, corn, soybeans, field peas and sunflowers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, South Dakota and North Dakota. Our season starts mid April where we finish up maintaining equipment and begin training for CDL and equipment maintenance and operation. Our harvest starts mid May with wheat and ends mid November. Employees will operate combines, tractors and trucks. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment e.g. welding, torching, grinding, and 12v electric repair. Employees will assist with all aspects of harvesting these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and employee must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 2 months experience.
