Job description
General farm labor including: fertilizing, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. Prepare farm grounds and equipment for the planting season. Set, operate, and maintain farming equipment to plant, fertilize, and harvest crops. Use power equipment, including tractors, ATVs, UTVs, and associated implements. Complete general farming duties such as servicing equipment, shop work, loading and unloading materials, and maintenance of farm grounds and equipment. Prepare equipment and facilities for the end of the season. Must be able to lift 50 pounds to a height of 5 feet, and be able to carry 50 pounds for 50 yards. Must be able to work outdoors and indoors in temperature extremes. Must be able to bend, climb up equipment, and use hand tools. Must be able to obtain a US Driver's License within 15 days following hire. 3 months of tractor operation and maintenance experience required.
