Farm Worker

Job description

General farm labor, including but not limited to:

Plant, irrigate, cultivate, and harvest crops. Maintain and service farm equipment and grain bin facility. Drive and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, vehicles, lawn mowers, and weedeaters. Mow pastures. Construct and repair temporary fences.

Workers may receive salary increases and merit-based bonuses based upon merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.

Special Requirements

Due to the use of vehicles and heavy machinery, drug testing may be conducted post-hire at the employers expense and is not part of the interview process. All workers may be subject to mandatory testing if they have been involved in a reportable accident or upon reasonable suspicion that drug use is impacting job performance. Criminal background checks are conducted post-hire at the employers expense. Any worker found to have a criminal conviction, DWI, commits serious acts of misconduct, refuses to follow instructions, violates work rules, fails to perform job duties competently, or other lawful job-related reasons will be terminated.
