Farmworker / Laborer

Job description

Duties include planting, trimming, stomping, trellising apples and general farm work. Workers will be required to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, climbing, bending, stooping and heavy lifting. The activities will be performed under extreme weather conditions such as heat and direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain and exposure to pollen. Workers must be able to perform all job duties in safe manner. Workers must be careful to handle tools, equipment and product in a manner to avoid injury or damage. Workers will be expected to perform job duties in a timely and proficient manner.

Special Requirements

Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. The employer is a drug-free workplace and has a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in the workplace and in the employer-provided housing. Bilingual in English is a plus but not a requirement.
