Farm Worker

Job description

Normal workweek, MON-FRI 7 am-4 pm. IF work is available on Saturday the employer may offer, but not require the worker an opportunity for additional hours. Worker may be required to work in the fields when it is wet and muddy or hot and dry conditions. Temperatures could range from 30 degrees to over 100 degrees. Worker will operate large modern farm machinery and aid in the production of commodity row crops and specialty crops. Work will include application of pesticides and fertilizers with a sprayer. Preparing ground for planting, harvesting and hauling etc.

Tools and equipment: The employer will furnish, without charge to the worker, all tools, supplies and equipment required in the performance of specified work.

Special Requirements

Workers should be able to stand, bend, stoop, walk and lift 80 pounds.
