Job description
Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest grapes. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; applying pesticides; or cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to lugs of grapes into bins or place them onto flatbed trailers for transport to sorting facility and carry 50 pound strap on backpack sprayer to apply pesticides, herbicieds, and liquid fertilizer. No testing will be required, we will accept the applicants statement that they are able to lift up to 50 lbs.
