Job description
As Heavy Truck Drivers, workers may drive a semi-truck, dump truck, or ready-mix truck weighing at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Workers will run and drive loaders, forklifts, and other vehicles or mechanized equipment. Workers will be required to load and unload materials from vehicles or mechanized equipment. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Special Requirements
class A commercial driver's license or its foreign/international equivalent
Must have class A commercial driver's license or its foreign/international equivalent. Must have one (1) month of CDL driving experience with ReadyMix trucks, dump trucks, etc. Must pass employer-paid pre-employment and random drug testing. Must be able to lift to seventy-five (75) lbs. throughout the day. Training will be provided on the job.
