Job description

Mow, edge & trim lawns, using power mowers and edgers. Use hand and power tools to maintain lawns, including snow blowers, saws, trimmers, etc. Mulch, aerate, weed, grub and remove thatch. Trim, weed and edge flower beds, walkways and walls, dig holes/trenches using hand tools with a max depth of 2.5 ft & width of 3 ft, for planting & irrigation systems. Follow landscape designs, lay sod, sow grass, plant, spread topsoil and mulch. Install rock gardens, ponds, drainage & irrigation systems, fences and planters. Maintain & winterize irrigation systems. Install mortarless segmental masonry. May operate motorized vehicles. Housing is optional. Possibility of performance based raise, bonus, overtime and Saturdays. 1 hr non paid lunch. Transportation provided to worksites from central location in Nixa, MO. Involves loading and unloading tools and supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Involves working outdoors in all types of weather. Involves extensive standing, sitting or walking. Involves frequent stooping or bending. Involves repetitive movements.. Employer will assist non-local workers to find housing, workers pay own room and board. Optional shared housing if available near the worksite at approximately $100.00 per week (subject to change based on local market/inflation). Possibility of performance based raise, bonus, overtime and Saturdays as required. Transportation provided to multiple worksites from central location in Nixa, MO. 60 minutes of unpaid breaks throughout the day.
