Job description
Employer is seeking temporary full-time workers who will assist senior crew leaders as landscape construction workers. DUTIES include assisting crew leaders with manual and motorized tools and machinery to help build custom landscapes per developer designs, planting trees and shrubs, assemble fencing by preparing site, excavating post holes (approx. 24” deep), attaching top and bottom rails to fence posts using brackets, screws, or nails, then setting posts in concrete footings, and hanging gates in designated openings using hinges and latches, laying sod, moving soil and mulch, excavate small trenches for sprinkler pipes (approx. 6” wide and 12” deep), pulling, cutting and gluing PVC sprinkler pipe, installing sprinkler lines, heads, and valves. TOOLS used will include manual and motorized tools and machinery including shovels, post-hole diggers, hammers, saws, Ditch Witch, and mini–Skid Steers. Employer provides all tools and transportation to various worksites.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or bend for all or most of work shift.
