Job description
Attend to customers upon entrance; Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages, including alcoholic beverages; Take and serve orders; Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products; Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff; Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude; Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order; Issue bills and accept payment ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages.

This is a tipped position so servers will earn the greater of $8.80 per hour plus tips or the wage set forth above.

This position requires standing, sitting, and walking for extended period and/or majority of the shift. This position requires moving, lifting, carrying pushing, and pulling objects weighing less than or equal to twenty-five (25) pounds. This position also requires frequent reaching overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
The days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling but will generally be five (5) days per week with rotating days off. Typical shifts are 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Hours per week will vary with business levels but will generally be 40 hours per week with some occasional overtime. The Otesaga Resort Hotel is open seven (7) days per week and weekend work will be required.
