Housekeeper

Job description

Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Kennebunkport Captains Collection’s property, which includes vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, running laundry to the laundry area, loading washing machines, folding laundry, disinfecting bathrooms, delivering luggage to guests rooms, and washing windows. Communicate maintenance or security needs in a timely manner to appropriate manager or supervisor. Housekeepers will also need to do weekly, monthly, and annual deep cleaning of property. Housekeepers will need to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and go up and down stairs.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, or 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
