Job description
Physically demanding duties related to new and replacement roofing projects. Assist more experienced roofers with tearoff / removal of existing shingles or other roof materials. Clean roof deck in preparation for installation. Assist with re roofing process as directed by foreman. Assist experienced workers with other repair tasks at worksite in connection with, or ancillary to, roofing projects such as gutters, windows, and other related repair. This may include, for example, repairing or replacing gutters, fascia, and windows that were damaged during the same event as the roof. Tasks will involve general labor and assisting more experienced workers by carrying materials, holding materials, applying weather-stripping, and applying caulking compounds as instructed. Clean worksite and load trucks at the end of each day. All duties to be performed utilizing proper installation methods and proper fall protection and scaffolding.
Special Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old and have ability to consistently lift 80 lbs.
