Job description

Transporting distiller products from ethanol plants to our feedlots.
As a distiller trucker, the driver is responsible to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the feed to the livestock while adhering to transportation regulations.
Key responsibilities of the worker will be:
Safely operate a truck and trailer to transport products from the ethanol plants to the feedlots.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal condition for transportation.
Follow established routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Load and unload distiller products efficiently, ensuring the integrity and quality of the goods during transit.
Communicate with dispatch, management, and relevant parties to coordinate transportation activities.
Complete accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage, fuel, and delivery details.
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices, ensuring the secure transportation of products.

Special Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.
Clean driving record.
Non-smoker.
Workers might be exposed to extreme weather conditions like thunder storms, hail and rain.
Job duties might require worker to perform physical and manual labor - loading, unloading of products and light maintenance on trucks and trailers might require workers to push, pull extensively and stoop frequently. Workers might be required to lift equipment, tools up to 60 lbs.
Workers might sit extensively due to driving for long periods, and while waiting for loading/unloading of the trucks.
