Job description

Provide or assist with basic care or support under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse. Perform duties such as monitoring of health status, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, or ambulation of patients in a health or nursing facility. Adjust positions of patients on beds or tables, feed patients, record vital statistics or other health information, hold patients to ensure proper positioning or safety, and assist patients with daily activities. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information related to the residents. Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates as well as observing, receiving, and obtaining information from all relevant sources. Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum. Work schedules can vary and can include evening and weekend hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am to 6:00pm, 6:00pm to 6:00am alternating days. 3 or 4 12-hour shifts per week and shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

Must have a Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant license within 45 days after arrival. Must be able to communicate in English. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of three feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 12 feet.
