Position offered is for an experienced rock splitter and quarry worker with a minimum of three months experience in rock splitting and quarry work who is able to work with and model company rock splitting and quarry work methods and procedures with up to 3 peers who will also separate blocks of rough dimension stone from quarry mass with jackhammer, wedges, and other tools; cut, sort, and split quarry stone by size and shape with a hammer and chisel. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds.
