Job description

Hosts will be responsible for providing friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional experience for guests, greeting guests, assisting with escorting to table or ordering food and beverages at the counter, assisting with phone calls and reservations, preparing station for service prior to guest arrival, including supplying of side stands, inspecting all tables for cleanliness and correctness of settings, clearing and resetting tables, re-stocking service areas (including beverage station), assisting kitchen and service staff with side work and food delivery, as needed, accurately communicating allergies to Chef, understanding and accurately describing restaurant food and beverage offerings to guests, informing culinary team of any food allergies, monitoring guest satisfaction frequently and anticipate needs, without requiring direction, communicating with other team members to deliver food in a timely manner, assisting service staff by serving food and beverages, bussing tables, and/or performing sidework (e.g., cleaning, restocking, and organizing the food service area and supplies), removing items from tray stands and server stations, recording all orders accurately into Micros system, processing payments, properly obtaining completed guest checks (bearing all required information), and maintaining cleanliness and organization in all work areas.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 4:30AM-11:30AM or 3:00PM-10:00PM. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check.
