Housekeeper

Job description

Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Transport housekeeping card with cleaning supplies, amenities and linens to assigned guest room and position securely. Service/clean assigned guest rooms. Remove dirty bed linen and make up bed with clean linen. Empty trash containers and ashtrays. Replace facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities. Clean closets and door track on check-out rooms. Dust and polish all furniture. Sweep and mop balconies. Vacuum carpet in guest room with vaccum cleaner. Spray room with deodorizor. Return and restock cart at end of shift. Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor. Turn over any lost and found items from guest rooms to Supervisor.

Shifts: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Special Requirements

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Requires walking and repetitive motions.
Able to stand, sit and walk for more than 4 hours.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
