Job description
Will provide training to perform a combination of hospitality cleaning duties that includes: Strip and make beds. Clean surfaces of guest rooms and common areas to ensure health standards are met. Replenish linens, towels, and guest amenities. Carry and transfer linens, towels, toiletries and other guest amenities, and cleaning supplies. Launder towels, linens, and other items on site. Load washing machines and dryers, iron and fold dried items. Sort, count, inventory, mark, and store clean linens. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport waste to disposal areas. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Move and arrange furniture. Clean, organize, and remove debris or other items from common areas. Receive inquiries from and communicate information to guests. Report safety hazards and other maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor or manager. Comply with all applicable health and safety codes and regulations. Requires use of cleaning and laundry equipment; lifting objects up to 40 lbs.; regularly standing during complete shift. 40 hours per week; 8-hours shifts, 5 days per week, during one of three shift schedules. Sample shifts include 9 am to 5 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm, or 11pm to 7 am. Days and shifts assigned may vary. Overtime may be available.
