Job description

The workers will be using hand tools such as shovels and rakes to prepare already excavated trenches ready for the septic, sewer or stormwater management installs. They will use the shovels and rakes to final grade the soil and dress with fertilizer, seed or straw for new grass growth. The workers will prepare 3 to 6 inches of soil in the excavation to prepare for bedding material and then prepare the top 3 to 6 inches and hand rake everything smooth for dressing with fertilizer, seed or straw.
