Job description

Eleven (11) temporary full-time Ground Person positions available for work beginning April 1, 2024 and continuing through December 1, 2024.

Day shift of forty hours work provided weekly - Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, at $16.91 or higher per hour, with optional overtime offered often at $25.37 or higher per hour.

No previous training, experience, or education are required, nor is any on-the-job training required, as clear and simple instructions are given onsite by supervising crew leaders.

Ground Person duties include ground-level pruning and trimming and hedging, all at ground level. Duties also include raking and digging and weeding and planting and watering; also chipping; also applying protective mulch and fertilizer; also collecting and hauling out debris, and loading/unloading crew vehicles.

Ground Persons observe for any shrub or hedge problems and inform crew leaders. The position is entry-level. Ground Persons attend a daily Safety Briefing.
