Job description

Dishwashers will be responsible for ensuring that all levels for sanitizer on dish machines and pot sinks are at the specific requirements for health standards at DNC Parks & Resorts at Sequoia’s property. Be able to work in different temperatures in a hot and damp kitchen environment, broken glass, metal cans, scalds, and burns, slipping and tripping, exposure to and contact with chemical cleaning agents. Wash dishes and all cooking materials by machine or hand. Maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen wares storage areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Places clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas. Prepare various foods (without cooking) to be cooked or served. Removes trash from dish room and transports to the dumpster. Cleans and sanitizes garbage cans, sweeps and scrubs floors. Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves in storerooms and freezers. Ability to stand and walk for the entire length of shift, twist, bend, squat, push and pull.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shift: 8:30am to 3:30pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club.
