Job description
Mow, cut, water, edge lawns; rake and blow leaves; dig holes using hand tools to plant; pull, chop weeds, prune and haul topsoil and mulch. Additional duties may include light equipment maintenance, involving changing the oil and filters of the lawn mower, cleaning hand tools such as shovels, rakes and pruning shears. Keep clean power tools such as leaf blower, grass trimmer and lawn aerator. Work involves bending, stooping, lifting and stretching on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in extreme weather conditions. Saturday work required, when necessary. Hours may vary and overtime required based on weather and project need. Travel to work-sites locations within Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer Counties of New York. All tools/supplies req'd, provided at no cost. On-the-job training will not be provided.
