Job description
The Administrative Assistant's primary duty is to provide support to member of the estimating department - answering phones and emails, scheduling, data entry, etc. fro the Estimating Department.
The Worker will communicate with department members and clients/potential clients to schedule meetings and aid in communication. Worker will help department to be aware of deadlines and prioritize department work by keeping track of deadlines and obligations of other members of the department. The worker will manage and track proposals, and assist with the preparation of bid proposals. Much of the worker's job will be filling out forms and inputting data into the appropriate spreadsheets, or platforms following instruction from other department members in an effort to accurately track interactions between the Employer and its vendors, clients, and potential clients as well as active or potential bids.
