Housekeeping Aide

Job description

Works closely with the Housekeepers to ensure the timely turnaround of all guest rooms and public areas. Assist the Housekeepers with specific assigned duties to provide the cleanest spaces in an efficient and organized manner. Remove soiled linen, terry and trash from guest rooms and provide support to the guest room attendants as directed by leadership. Assist in maintaining the exteriors of lodging accommodations through the property and common areas. Serve both guest and staff requests for amenities and supplies. Set up and break down rollaway beds, cribs and other requested amenities in guest rooms. Process linens using commercial washers, dryers and pressing machines. Assist in weekly housekeeping supply inventory. Receive and distribute supplies throughout the property. Maintain storage areas throughout the property and stock supplies as needed.

Shifts: Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm; Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 6:30pm.

Special Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to ascend and descend ladders for cleaning purposes.
