Job description

Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as planter, drill, combine, disc, plow to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as sunflowers, corn, potatoes, wheat, silage; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops into trailers and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Attach implements using hand tools.
