Job description
Supervisor will pick up workers from housing, take them to worksites, field walk, supervise workers, and drive them back to their housing. They will conduct proper worker timekeeping and job activity recording using a scanning device. They will also assist with simple daily vehicle maintenance checks, filling water jugs with drinking water for the workers each morning and ensuring field sanitation measures are maintained throughout the day, such as clean drinking water, bathrooms, and handwashing facilities available to workers. Supervisor is required to live in the housing provided by the employer and may take workers once a week to the grocery store. Must have or be able to obtain immediately a federal farm labor contractor license. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense.
Duties may also include machine harvesting blueberries and/or forklift and tractor operation. Operators of machine harvesters must be careful to avoid damaging blueberry bushes. Supervisor may also transport blueberries from field to packing shed (on farm only). This will be done under extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as heavy bending, stooping, and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.

Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. The employer is a drug-free workplace and has a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in the workplace and in the employer-provided housing. Background check and random drug testing will be conducted post-hire at employer's expense. Drug testing may be done post-accident and for cases with valid reasons for suspicion.
