Job description

Manual field laborer duties will include but not limited to working with bees for pollination which includes prior work
experience and knowledge of fencing, placing and moving hives, checking hives, repairing bean damages hives
daily and removal of hives,(50%), manually changing irrigation guns,(20%) brush pick up by hand,(5%) installing
automated irrigation heads and sprinkler system,(15%) hand weed wiping,(10%). Worker may operate John Deere Sprayers as needed. Worker should have experience with operating chainsaws, brush saws, tractors, mowers, ATVS, or other farm equipment.

Special Requirements

Anticipated range of hours for different seasonal activities: Eight hours per day is normal. Workers may be offered more than the
specified work in a single day. The worker may be requested but not required to work 12-14 hours per day and/or on the Sabbath or
Federal holidays depending on the conditions in the fields, weather, and maturity of the crop. Worker may be requested to work
Saturday and Sunday during peak times and special needs but not required. These requirements pertain to both H-2A and U.S.
workers. Extreme heat, cold or drought may affect working hours. Employee may work 40 to 50 hours based on special work schedule situations, weather and crop conditions permitting.
