Job description

This is an application for nursery crops. Job duties include:

Perform harvest and shipping season duties which require lifting, moving, carrying and loading
objects weighing greater than 80lbs. For loads heavier than 80lbs., two or more people may be
required to lift the load. Lift, move and load nursery trees, including hand loading of trees into trucks and trailers for client shipping. Work in cold storage and outdoor storage areas to move trees as needed for processing and shipping activity. Dig by hand, using various sizes and types of shovels for the transplanting of trees. Tie up branches of trees and bundle for transport, storage, and shipping. Clean equipment and facilities and wash mud off plants. Operate small to medium sized tractors and forklift equipment, to move supplies and trees around the nursery. Assist team leaders and inventory managers in counting plants, tagging, and labelling. Process packaging materials for shipping. Operate passenger vehicles and trucks to move supplies, nursery trees and personnel between work sites, housing, and facilities.

B.2) Worker must possess 4 months of consecutive and verifiable nursery experience.
