Farm Labor Worker

Job description

The worker will perform job duties as assigned by the supervisor. Watermelon planting, cucumbers, strawberries, green beans and squash. fieldwork, and harvesting, field work and packing house duties. During the contract, the worker will prepare the fields for planting. This will include placing and taking off the ground cloth, digging trenches, installing and repairing irrigation, planting, weeding, and other miscellaneous work. The worker must be walk down the field row and utilize a knife to hand-cut ripe watermelons off the vine for harvesting. The watermelons are then loaded in a bus by forming part of an assembly line, in which the first worker bends down
picks up the watermelon and it is passed on next workers by passing, catching, lifting, until it reaches the worker on the bus, who then sets it down and stacks them until the bus is considered full. Finally, the watermelons are separated by quality and size and packed in boxes.
El trabajador realizar las tareas laborales que le asigne el supervisor. Plantar, trabajo de campo y cosecha de sandia, trabajo de campo, Siembra de sandía, pepinos, fresas, judías verdes y calabaza.
