Job description
Workers main duties are to run tractors, sprayers, combines and other equipment to plant, cultivate and harvest durham, wheat, chickpeas and peas. Workers will operate non CDL trucks to transport grain to employers grain storage. Secondary duties will include spreading fertilizer, run a tractor and roller, assist employer with feeding and watering livestock, greasing and performing basic maintenance to equipment and pick up trucks. 50 hours per week is average, but during peak planting and harvest, workers may work up to 70+ hours. Applicants must have 3 months of verifiable experience with heavy farm equipment operation
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
