Job description

The workers will have the task of planting, weeding, and harvesting produce. The crops include strawberries, tomatoes, cantaloupe, watermelon, apples, peaches, peppers, squash, pumpkins, sweet corn,

The worker must be able to walk down the rows to harvest, and when picking the fruits occasionally climb a step ladder. For the larger produce the employee will need to bend over and pick up the produce and tossed to the next employee until it is placed on a truck or wagon. This could require the laborer to be able to lift a 50-pound melon from the ground and tossing it to the next employee. Employees will hoe and pull weeds pre harvest and clean up the fields after harvest. This can include removing the plastic used for the raised beds, the t-tape used for irrigation, or in the case of tomatoes cutting the strings and removing the stakes. Pruning the fruit trees will be done as well as caring for the bedding plants both early and late in the season.
