Cherry Orchard Worker

Job description

Throughout the term of employment, run an orchard tractor to move / re-locate crates, cherry bins, and other items and fix irrigation systems. Throughout the term of employment, mow and weed and build and maintain fencing throughout the orchard property. In May, plant new trees. From Mid-July – August, harvest cherries. From August – September, perform post- harvest cleanup duties, including clearing orchard of ladders, crates and other supplies used during harvest; pack and store harvest supplies for next year.

Hours listed are approximate and may vary depending on weather. Saturday hours may occasionally be required. Hours over 40 worked in a workweek will be overtime.
