Job description

Farm Workers and Laborers: Manually plant, cultivate, prune, harvest, transplant and harvest alfalfa and oats. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Use of farm equipment machinery like tractor, harvester or forklift.

Duties may include tilling soil and applying organic fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; applying natural or organic pest control; cleaning, packing, and loading harvested products. May also construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in drip, sprinkler or flood irrigation activities.

Observe, study and patrol soil health treat where needed. While we aim for consistent work hours, the nature of the job will require some very early morning and some late nights.
