Job description
Unloading, washing, culling, sorting, packing, storing, loading of crops produced by our farm such as carrots; extensive sitting/standing at grader tables with moving conveyers to sort and pack crops; operating forklift to move boxes on pallets; daily cleaning and sanitation; performing maintenance and cleaning of worksite in accordance with federal food and safety standards; loading crops onto trucks to be delivered to market or storage facilities; weighing, guiding crops; perform duties for cooling produce in preparation for market such as reading a thermometer and touching crops by hand.
