Job description
On farms, inspect equipment and facilities to ensure they meet our biosecurity guidelines. Adhere to biosecurity policy at all times and report any violations to management personnel. Monitor all aspects of the washing and disinfection process. Must ensure the wash bay is cleaned and disinfected between each washing. Inspect all trailers, trucks, tractors, post-cleaning and order re-cleaning when necessary to meet biosecurity protocol. Wash and inspect farrowing rooms, maintenance, storage, and loading areas post-cleaning and order re-cleaning when necessary to meet biosecurity protocol. Monitor upkeep of exterior grounds.
Special Requirements
One (1) month training while on the job provided. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary.
