Farm Worker

Job description

Must have 3 months experience. One reference required.
Job duties include flood and/or pivot irrigation of wild hay fields, meadows, alfalfa fields and livestock pasture, weed control, orphan lamb care, harvesting and moving of livestock feed, fence repair and maintenance, feeding livestock and gopher control. Job requires employee to be around and work with machinery.
The worker will live in the employer provided housing. Said housing will be clean and in good repair at the time it is provided to the employee. The employee is responsible to maintain the housing unit in a reasonable level of cleanliness in order to avoid flies, mice or other vermin. The employee is responsible to alert the employer of damage to the housing unit within a reasonable amount of time. The employee may be held accountable for damage to the housing unit that is the result of a dishonest or willful act or by the gross negligence on the part of the employee (normal wear and tear excepted).

Typical Work Schedule
M – Sat – 7am – 5pm not including a 2 hour lunch break.

Sundays require approximately 2 working hours and occasionally more, as needed. Occasionally, when work requires and/or weather dictates rest days may change from Sunday to another day. An average of 50 hours of work will be preformed per week at the rate of $16.63 an hour.
