Workers Needed:
a. Total: 10
b. H-2A: 3
Twin Peaks Orchards, Inc seeks certification for 3 H-2A workers and 10 total workers. Of the 10 total workers, 7 will be domestic workers who do not require housing.

Agricultural products: Stone Fruit (peaches, nectarines, apricots plums, and prunes), Persimmons, Citrus, Apples, and Row Crops (Squash (summer), melons, tomatoes and peppers.

Farms Workers to perform the following duties: harvesting produce, including ladder work, field packing, farm maintenance, thinning, weed whacking, irrigation maintenance, hand planting, hand weeding and tree pruning. Hand weeding will be performed on an intermittent basis for less than 20 percent of time.

Stone Fruit/Apples
The Stone Fruit and Apple season begins with thinning in April and harvesting May-September depending on the amount of fruit and weather.

Persimmons
The Persimmons season begins October-December depending on the amount of fruit and weather.

Citrus
The Citrus season begins October-February depending on the amount of fruit and weather.

Vegetables/Row Crops
The Vegetable/Row Crop season begins May-October depending on the amount of fruit and weather.

Pruning will take place primarily from December to February

Special Requirements

3 months of experience in orchard harvesting with diverse crops, including stone fruit crops. Specific requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds frequently and being able to use hand tools, including cutting knives. Cannot be color blind due to the need to distinguish colors of crops. Must be able to use hand clippers and work on high ladders on hillsides. Must be able to carry ladders and cannot be afraid of heights.
