Job description
Perform routine tasks such as cultivating and fertilizing soil and planting, irrigating, cultivating and harvesting crops. Plant crops using hard tools and farm machines, operate machinery to cultivate and harvest, thin, weed and hoe, irrigate crops, harvest crops according to size and ripeness, and discard rotting and over-ripened produce, grade, sort, bunch and pack produce into containers, load filled vegetables onto carts.
Special Requirements
Workers must crouch, bend, lift and carry items weighing up to the number of pounds indicated in Section B/Item 4.F. in the course of performing required activities. Most duties will be performed out of doors and entail exposure to heat, cold, dust, rain and other environmental conditions common in fields, including mosquitos during certain seasons.
