Job description
Workers will perform construction of hog confinement. Workers will begin by cleaning and preparing construction sites. Utilizing project plans, workers will load, unload, and distribute building materials, machinery, and tools to their designated locations. Workers will position, join, align, and seal structural components like concrete wall sections and pipes. Workers will install sewer, water, and storm drainpipes. Workers will mix, pour, and spread concrete efficiently using portable cement mixers smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete surfaces using an array of tools. Additionally, workers will be repairing windows, adding insulation, and applying weather-stripping materials. Lastly, workers will ensure structural integrity by applying caulking compounds meticulously, safeguarding against water or air infiltration either manually or with caulking guns. Workers will only build agriculture buildings on a farm for a farmer, which is considered secondary agriculture and meets the requirements for H-2A workers. Special Requirements
3 months of livestock equipment installation/repair experience required. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. Post-employment drug test paid for by employer when applicable.
