Job description
Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer
machinery.
-Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand
sprayers.
-Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation
equipment.
-Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
-Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.
-Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
- Operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (weather on or off the
farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops;
transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public
roads to reach the farm fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an
as needed basis Those that are requested
to drive will be required to possess an appropriate license, no one will be rejected for this position that does
not possess a drivers license Summer prune trees, bin repair, tree nursery work, planting trees, hand
thinning, orchard maintenance, driving, mowing , spraying
