Job description

Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts,
or transfer augers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Participate in the
inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops. Clean work areas, and
maintain grounds and landscaping. Examine and inspect containers, materials, or products to ensure
that product quality and packing specifications are met. Measure, weigh, and count products and
materials. Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. Obtain, move, and sort
products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools. Mark and label containers, container
tags, or products, using marking tools. Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand
tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes. Load materials and products into
package processing equipment. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability
of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools
and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and
carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is
required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
