Job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Emptying wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweeping floors, using brooms, mops. Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Vacuuming rugs, carpets, and dusting furniture. Sanitizing equipment and supplies. Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens and store them in linen closets. Washing dishes and cleaning kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware. Must greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing. Must be flexible, communicate effectively, speak clear English, be a team player.

Employees will work Mon-Sun, an average of 35 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 7 hr shift within the hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm any day of the week, days off rotate, shifts vary. Weekends, nights and holidays are required.
