Job description

Workers will perform field work and tractor work at almond/walnut and apricot/plum orchards. Duties include but are not limited to, pruning, weed control, applying fertilizer, applying water, checking and repairing irrigation, property maintenance, repair of fences, rodent abatement and other orchard related tasks. Please note employer abides by 8 Cal. Code Regulations Section 3437, 3456(b-c). Workers will also be responsible for minor maintenance on farm equipment to include greasing, fueling, and cleaning. Workers primary duties will be to operate tractors and using/attaching tractor implements. Applicants must have 3 months verifiable experience operating 150 Hp or greater tractors in orchards.

Special Requirements

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only. Employer abides by CA Wage Order 14.
