Job description
All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in boxes 3 and 4, page 1 of this order. This work order is for qualified people to perform the duties of general field work and harvesting of pumpkins and gourds. Workers must be willing to work in varied weather conditions. The work requires long hours of standing, bending, and walking. The workers will be picking up pumpkins and placing them on a conveyor belt and/or removing them from a conveyor belt and placing them in a truck or bin, therefore the worker must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. The harvest lasts five to six weeks and workers will not be required to work more than the number of hours specified in the job order for a workday, or on the worker's Sabbath or Federal holidays.
Employer will furnish to workers, at no cost., all tools and equipment required to perform duties assigned. Workers must be able to take directions in simple English.
Special Requirements
Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid random drug testing in accordance with state law. Any employee who declines to take or fails a drug test will be immediately terminated.
To ensure the safety of the communities surrounding our operations, the Employer requires all-newly hired employees to take and pass an employer-paid background check. All background checks are conducted uniformly after an initial job offer has been extended and accepted by the new hire.
