Workers Needed:

Description of the specific services or labor to be performed:

Use the picking machine to pick berries, changing out boxes when full for a new, empty box. Stack full boxes properly for transfer. Warehouse duties include dumping berries from the full boxes on to the belt line. Must remove all bad/spoiled berries then stack the finished product, securely wrap the pallet, and have ready for storage. Workers will also perform sorting-related duties in the warehouse located on the farm. Workers will dump crates of fruit onto packing line for sorting. Workers will also repackage fruit in boxes. In addition, workers will stack and wrap finished boxes. Workers will also clean packing line, including hosing line down and sweeping floors.

Workers will have various duties around the farm throughout the season including working the picking machine or working in the warehouse. All work is interchangeable and essential to the harvest and farm. Employer operates all worksites and all work is done on the farm.

Special Requirements

Must have 3 months experience working in crop(s) and/or agricultural activity identified in this job order.
Workers must be physically fit to perform job duties without succumbing to excessive exhaustion
Workers will be provided safety training and will be expected to handle tools/equipment safely and carefully so as to avoid crop damage and to protect the worker from potential injury.

Must report to work sober. May be subjected to and must pass post-employment, employer-paid drug test. Workers under the influence of drugs or alcohol pose a safety threat to themselves and other workers and cause liability for the employer.

ADDITIONAL HOURS NON-COMPULSORY: Additional, non-compulsory work may be offered, including on holidays.
VARIED SCHEDULE: Days, start and end times may vary throughout the season.
