Job description

Pruning blueberry bushes, mulch, various farming picking rocks, hand weeding, irrigation (harvesting brussels sprouts, apples, blueberries, broccoli, cauliflower, berries and vegetables). May drive company vehicles (pickup-up trucks and vans) on the farm and to and from housing.

HOURS AND SCHEDULE VARY: preharvest: Mon - Fri, 6am-2pm, 35 hrs. harvest: additional hours required, Mandatory weekends will be required. Schedule depends on production needs throughout the entire contract.

BONUS: possible end of contract bonus ($500) upon employers discretion and worker performance/experience.

Special Requirements

Must have 3 months experience working in crop(s) and/or agricultural activity identified in this job order.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently. No smoking or illegal weapons or controlled substances in the worksite or in the houses. Able to stoop, bend, and work in cold and wet conditions. Able to use tools such as pruning shears, knives, hand saws, weed eaters, hedgers, shovels. Safety use and training provided by employer. Workers must abide by Employer housing rules. Ability to communicate in English or Spanish is required for training and safety purposes. (i.e. Workers must listen to, understand and follow instructions of Employer supervisors and managers.)
