Job description
Operating self-propelled equipment that assists with reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing, or winnowing silage crops such as corn, milo; Performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment including washing, waxing, checking tire pressure, blowing off machines, greasing, checking fluid levels; Performing safety checks on equipment; Maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; Transporting crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another via truck (9, 10, 13 speed); Loading/unloading harvester and tractor from trailer; Carry 5 gallons of water to harvester for inoculant; Obtain parts and fuel with trailer.
