Job description
Workers on this application will be hand-harvesting corn and hand weeding a variety of organic crops on farms. Duties include detasseling corn plants, identifying rogue corn plants, removing plants with undesirable characteristics, and weeding rows of crops using garden hoes and machetes. Each worker will be responsible for their assigned rows of corn or crops.
Special Requirements
Must be willing to work on feet in bent, stooped, and crouched positions for long periods of time. Work requires repetitive movements and extensive walking. Must be physically able to do the work required and must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
